Large Antique Bronze And Crystal Centerpiece/ Jardiniere / France C. 1900/ 8 H

Large bronze & crystal centerpiece (jardiniere). France circa 1900 or late 19 century. This large and heavy centerpiece (jardiniere) has its original insert crystal glass. The crystal is decorated with garland flowers and vertical lines, in the Louis 16 taste.

It is a very heavy cut crystal piece. The bronze is a heavy casting work (NOT pressed), also decorated with flowers , garland , etc..

With the original gold gilding. H : 8 inches (20 cm). W : 12 inches (30 cm). D : 8 inches (20 cm). Please see photos carefully to admire the beauty of the work.

The crystal insert has 2 tiny chips at 2 corners at the bottom cant see it when inside the bronze mount. Also, I believe, at one upper side at the corner, it was sanded to fix a chip , or it has a manufacture defect (default de Fabrique). My point of view, it is a manufacture defect, because this area has a clear crystal color as the rest of the crystal piece. No chips, cracks or any damage to the crystal (except what I mentioned).

Minor scratches to the crystal due to age and use. No dents or damage to the bronze. Minor oxidation to the bronze due to age.
